Physics: Conversion more specifically

Hey there!

  Physics, I have learned, can be either fun, or just plain bothersome.  Well, today I learned, (through a long process, mind you, retaking lessons can be helpful in physics)  that conversion may not be so hard after all.

 But let me tell you, yesterday this made no sense to me. And this was my first conversion problem.  So if I can do it, (And I hate algebra) then you can to. (Especially if math is something you love)

 V= m . 1/p = 81g  .  1 cm3/10.5g = 7.7 cm3 = 7.7 mL

And honestly, when it's written down like that it doesn't make sense until you learn physics. But a lot of that is converting. And that can be easy depending on the process.

Here's a few tips.  Going in order of that conversion.

V = Volume
m = Mass
p = Density
g = gram
cm3 = Cubic centimeters
mL = Milliliters

And I've been using the  /   for the cm3 over g.

 Cubic centimeters equal the same as milliliters.   In this case,  1  cubic centimeter equals  10.5 grams.  81g  divided by 10.5  equals  7.7   and once you have all the numbers, then you can worry about the labels.

This is pretty much how algebra, or in some cases dividing fractions. If you have done either, then this should make a bit more sense.

p =  V/M  the formula for density.    So if  you are having trouble with density formulas, then this may help a little.

ps - Sorry if it makes no sense, I can try and revise it.
